Rane clocks Rs 8.56 crore Q4 net profit

Manufacturers of steering and suspension systems for automobiles, Rane (Madras) Ltd today reported a marginal increase in its net profits for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2014 at Rs 8.56 crore.
The city-based company had reported net profits at Rs 8.08 crore registered during the corresponding period of previous year, Rane (Madras) Ltd said in a statement.
Total income of the company for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2014 rose to Rs 248.12 crore from Rs 173.95 crore registered during the corresponding period of previous year.
The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of 55 per cent (Rs 5.50 per equity share) for the year 2013-14, it said.
