"I have asked Kodandaram to join me (for the meet)," Rao told reporters here today.
The Union Home Ministry has convened the meeting of recognised political parties of Andhra Pradesh on December 28 to discuss the Telangana issue.
When pointed out that the invite from Centre was to depute representatives of the party, Rao said "Kodandaram is the Chairman of our JAC".
Seeking to mount pressure on TDP and YSR Congress, the TRS leader demanded that their top leaders, Chandrababu Naidu and Y S Vijayamma respectively, attend the meet themselves and give in writing that they support statehood for Telangana.
"They say they are not against Telangana. If they are honest, Naidu and Vijayamma should attend and convey in writing that they support Telangana demand," Rao said.
