Rape victim found unconscious in sugarcane field

A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth when she had gone to the fields at Bhopa village in the district, police said today.
The victim was found unconscious in the fields and on regaining her senses, she said the youth had picked her up last evening, brought her to the fields and raped her, police said.
A case has been registered and the victim has been sent for medical examination, they said.
