Rapper Chinx killed in drive-by shooting

New York rapper Chinx has been shot dead. He was 31.
Chinx, whose real name was Lionel Pickens, died yesterday. He was one of two victims found with gunshot wounds in the wee hours in New York, reported CNN.
The rapper was pronounced dead, with wounds to the torso, once he arrived at Jamaica Medical Center.
The second victim remains in critical condition.
Chinx's management confirmed his death in a statement, posted on Instagram.
"It is with a heavy heart that The Legion Media Group and 4 Kings Management announce the passing of Lionel 'Chinx' Pickens this morning. He was 31," the statement read.
He was a member of popular rapper French Montana's record label Coke Boys, and was best known for songs "Feelings" and "Bodies".
Various celebrities and members of the rap community took to Twitter to express their condolences.
"God bless you your family your team... Chinx is a good man good heart good friend... Sending my...," tweeted DJ Khaled.
Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, who earlier dated Montana, wrote, "We've only known each other a short time but it was the best time, full of memories that I will cherish forever! I miss you Chinxy. #RIPChinx."
Her brother Rob Kardashian tweeted, "Rest in peace Chinx... Gone way too soon.
