Vice Chancellor P K Sarangi announced this after students today submitted a memorandum to him seeking steps to hoist the tricolour inside the campus every day.
The university accepted the demand and assured them that the tricolour would be hoisted prominently inside the campus daily from Independence Day this year.
"I have assured the students that a vantage location inside the campus will be identified soon to hoist the national flag every day from August 15 this year," Sarangi said adding the University will bear the entire cost.
They raised slogans like 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' before submitting the memorandum to the VC.
