RBI sets rupee reference rate at 63.91 against dollar

The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate of rupee at 63.9170 against the US dollar and at 70.4110 for the euro as against 63.6042 and 71.2303, respectively, last Friday.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 100.4008 and 52.17 per 100 yen, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee rate would be based on this rate, the statement added.
