Electing to bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted 148-4 against Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League encounter, here today.
Bangalore were reduced to 22-5 in 5 overs before AB de Villiers smashed a 46-ball unbeaten 89 to take RCB to 148-4 in their 20 overs. Mandeep Singh (28) and Stuart Binny (18) also made useful contributions.
For Kings XI Punjab, Varun Aaron (2/21) snapped two wickets, while Sandeep Sharma (1/26) and Axar Patel (1/12) picked one wicket each.
