The 'Under The Bridge' rockers, who headlined the Coachella music festival last weekend, will put on a special show at the charity event hosted by the Dalai Lama Environmental Summit at the Veteran's Memorial Colliseum in Oregon, which hopes to encourage people to take more "care of the planet".
A statement was posted on the Summit's website confirming the news.
"The musical element of this event is intended to be a display of joyful celebration and an inspiration to future generations to care for our planet.
The California rockers, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary, brought the first weekend of this year's Coachella to an end with an hour-long set featuring performances of their hits including 'Under The Bridge,' 'Dani California,' 'Snow (Hey Oh)' and more recent songs including 'Monarchy of Roses' from their latest album 'I'm With You.
