While, groundnut oil and linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial gained on sustained demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein inched-up by a Re per 10kg to Rs 484 from Tuesday's closing of Rs 483. However, groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 980 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold rose by Rs 15 per 100kg to Rs 4,165 from Rs 4,150 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 863 as against Rs 860 yesterday.
