While, groundnut oil and linseeds oil held stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial gained modestly on consistent demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the futures market, castorseeds for December advance on good speculative demand amidst sustained export enquiries.
In the edible section, Refined palmolein inched-up by Re 1 per 10kg to Rs 597 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 596. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 850 per 10kg.
Turning to futures, castorseed December contract resume slightly lower at Rs 4,045 and moved in the range of Rs 4,092 and Rs 4,035 before finishing at Rs 4,058 from Rs 4,048 previously, showing a net rise of Rs 10 per tonne.
