While, groundnutoil prices ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In non-edible segment, linseed oil climbed on good offtake from paint and allied industries. Meanwhile, both castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial dropped on subdued demand from shippers and soap industries.
The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein advanced by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 620 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 615. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 755 per 10kg.
However, castorseeds bold dipped by Rs 60 per 100kg to Rs 3,915 from Rs 3,975 and castoroil commercial declined by Rs 12 per 10kg to Rs 813 as compared to Rs 825 previously.
