Refined palmolein surges on festive offtake

Refined palmolein strengthened further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on rising retail demand amid good ongoing festivities.
While, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial also gained further following higher demand from shipper and soap industries.
However, groundnutoil weakened further owing to sluggish stockists and retailers demand on the back of ample supplies.
Linseedoil continue to maintain its steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein surged Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 555 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 548.
While, groundnut oil slipped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to 840 as against Rs 850 previously.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,750 from last weekends' level of Rs 4,725 and castor oil commercial went up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 980 from Rs 975 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 750 per 10 kg.
