However, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In non-edible sector, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also climbed due to firm offtake from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Among the edible segment, refined palmolein rose by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 457 from Monday's closing of Rs 452. However, Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,100 per 10kg.
Castorseed bold climbed by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 4,150 from Rs 4,140 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 860 as against Rs 858 yesterday.
