At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October declined by Rs 2.60, or 0.45 per cent to Rs 571.70 per 10 kg with an open interest of 82,185 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November contracts traded lower by Rs 1.65, or 0.29 per cent to Rs 570.95 per 10 kg in 36,820 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants on the back of sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing regions in the physical market amid sluggish demand, mainly kept pressure on refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
