Register case against DSP, sayd HC

: Madras High court bench today directed police at Tirumangalam to register a case against the DSP, Peraiyur, based on the principles laid down in the Lalitha Kumari case, on a complaint given by the BSP.
Thavamani, BSP district General Secretary in his petition alleged that that the DSP had on Sept 18, 2013 threatened him with dire consequences for staging an agitation against him.
He had filed a police complaint, but police allegedly refused to register an FIR, following which he moved court.
Justice S Vaidyanathan directed police at Tirumangalam to register a case based on the principles laid down by the Supreme Court in the Lalitha Kumari case.
