In Vishakapatnam, the bandh evoked partial response with buses and autos plying as usual on roads. Commercial establishments including hotels and shopping malls remained open. However, banks, schools and colleges were closed. Work at the industrial sector at Gajuwaka was hit as majority of the employees abstained from work.
