Repoll at Singjamei poll stn tomorrow

Repoll will take place at Singjamei Kshetri Leikai Primary school poll station in Manipur's Thongju assembly constituency where voting was disrupted during yesterday's byelections due to EVM glitches.
A State Election Official notification said polling will start at the poll station from 7 a m and end at 4 p m tomorrow.
Over 85 per cent votes were cast in by-elections to two assembly constituencies of Thangmeiband and Thongju in the district yesterday.
However, EVM glitches have necessitated repoll at 5/25 polling station at Singjamei Kshetri Leikai Primary School in Thongju assembly constituency, the State Election officer said, adding that repoll date would be announced shortly.

In Thongju assembly constituency, three contestants were - GA Tonsana Sharma of MDPF, Bijoy Koijam of INC and Th Bishwajit Singh of BJP.
