Reports of uniformed men create panic in Jammu, searches held

Reports of movement of suspected people in combat uniforms today triggered panic in Phalian Mandal area of Jammu.
There was a rumour of some suspected persons in combat dresses moving in Phalian Mandal area of Satwari of the city, police said, adding that a search operation was initiated after the news.
As a precautionary measure, police has been checking vehicles entering Jammu city at various check points, they said.
Confirming the incident, SSP Jammu Uttam Chand said, "It was a rumour".
