'ReserveDine' plans to raise USD five mn this quarter

Restaurant discovery platform 'ReserveDine' is looking to raise USD five million this quarter, its founder and CEO Ahmed Sharief said today.
'ReserveDine' has added close to 3,000 restaurants in Hyderabad on its platform and will add 15,000 restaurants by the end of this year by expanding to Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru, Sharief told reporters here.
'ReserveDine', which offers restaurant discovery, reservations, deals, social networking, reviews, analytics and content driven platform, also has plans to expand in seven more cities by end of 2018, he said.
"The company has raised around Rs two crore from the founders and investors. We are planning to raise USD five million in this quarter.. We already have got commitment of USD 2.5 million," Sharief said.
City-based startup, DineDesk a cloud based reservation, table management system and marketing platform for the restaurants, has started 'ReserveDine'.
"As India is one of the major markets for food tech industry, DineDesk has started 'ReserveDine' in India to offer a new emerging unified solution for foodies and restaurants," he said.
ReserveDine's app gives diner information on restaurants, along with menus, 360 degree inside view, reviews, a social platform for all food lovers, Sharief added.
