According to a government order, Additional Director General of Police (Law and order) T K Rajendran has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Chennai replacing S George who will take over as ADGP Prisons.
ADGP Prisons J K Tripathy has been transferred as ADGP Law and Order in the place of Rajendran.
The transfers would take place with immediate effect, the order said.
