Angry over erratic supply of water in the area, residents of Malpura village near Dharuhera today blocked vehicular traffic on Delhi-Jaipur Highway for about three hours.
The protesters flayed the Public Health authorities for their "apathetic approach" towards the drinking water problem.
The villagers alleged that they were not getting water for the past four days, but the authorities did nothing despite repeated requests.
The road blockade continued for about three hours till senior police officials assured the protesters that the problem would be addressed soon.
