The corresponding figures were 4.43 per cent and 4.66 per cent in October.
"Point-to-point rate of inflation based on consumer price index-agricultural labourers and CPI-rural labourers increased from 4.43 per cent and 4.66 per cent in October 2015 to 4.92 per cent and 5.02 per cent in November 2015," a Labour Ministry press release said.
According to the statement, food inflation under CPI-AL and CPI-RL came in at 4.79 per cent and 5.15 per cent, respectively, in November 2015.
CPI-AL and RL of Tamil Nadu registered the maximum increase of 18 points and 17 points, respectively.
In contrast, Meghalaya saw the maximum fall of 9 points each.
