Retired police official run over by train

A 61-year old retired police officer was today run over by a train in Malviya Nagar area here, GRP officials said.
Vishal Kumar Sharma, a retired additional superintendent of police, had gone for a morning walk when he was run over while crossing the railway tracks, the government railway police said.
Sharma is the father of Banswara Superintendent of Police Anand Sharma.
The body has been handed over to family members after postmortem, they said.
