Chanting anti-government slogans, Patwaris, under the banner of the All Jammu and Kashmir Patwari Association, took out a protest march near the Deputy Commissioner's office in Residency area.
They demanded fulfilment of their long-pending demands including removal of pay anomalies and recruitment of new Patwaris.
"We will continue our strike till our demands are met. The government is yet to respond our demands," AJKPA Jammu district chief Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai told reporters here.
