Traders said low demand against higher supplies from producing belts mainly kept pressure on rice basmati and bajra prices.
In the national capital, rice basmati Pusa-1121 variety eased to Rs 6,000-6,900 against last close of Rs 6,000-7,000 per quintal.
Bajra also dropped to Rs 1,120-1,125 against last close of Rs 1,155-1,160 per quintal.
Atta flour mills and maida too ended lower at Rs 840-850 and Rs 900-910 as compared to previous levels of Rs 850-860 and Rs 905-915 per 50 kg, respectively on decline in demand.
