Mustard oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today following scattered buying.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled at previous levels.
Traders said scattered buying by local parties led to the rise in mustard oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil rose by Rs 50 to Rs 7,250 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
