Scott, Giannina Facio and Colet Abedi have optioned the rights to White's memoir The Devil in the Kitchen: Sex, Pain, Madness and the Making of a Great Chef, reported Deadline.
It isn't yet clear if Scott will also serve as director on the project, which will chart White's rise to fame as one of the first celebrity chefs.
The memoir focuses on White's tumultuous early years and his success as a chef in 1980s London.
The 52-year-old - who trained Gordon Ramsay - was the first and youngest chef to win three Michelin stars. He has appeared on cooking shows like 'Hell's Kitchen', 'MasterChef' and 'Marco Pierre White's Kitchen Wars'.
