No one was injured in the incident, which will not have any impact on production.
"A minor fire broke out this morning in the finishing line of poly butadiene rubber plant in Vadodara. The fire was expeditiously brought under control by the fire fighters at the plant," the company said in a statement here.
RIL said the cause of the fire is being investigated and all other units are functioning normally.
"Alternate finishing line is taken into production and hence there will be no impact on production. All other units are functioning normally," the statement said.
