Former 'Beatles' star Richard Starkey, who is known by his stage name Ringo Starr, will release his new album and go on a tour next year.
The 74-year-old star uploaded a video on YouTube on December 21, telling his fans about the updates of his work and upcoming album, reported Ace Showbiz.
"I finished my record, mixed the record, and next year it will be out via Universal Records. That's the good news," he says in the short clip.
Starr hints about the upcoming tour, which will take place between February and March, but has revealed no details about the upcoming album.
He released his last album 'Ringo 2012' two years back.
