The 63-year-old actor took to Twitter to give the health update and also thanked his fans for wishing him and wife Neetu Kapoor on their wedding anniversary.
"Well, thank you all for your wishes. Just that was in the hospital for a minor procedure. Back home now tired, drained out, weary to party!," Rishi tweeted.
Apart from fans, filmmaker Farah Khan also wished the the couple with a quirky tweet.
"Dear @chintskap and Neetu ji, Belated Happy Anniversary. They say marriage is a relationship where one is always right... And the other is the husband," she wrote.
