Robber, accomplice arrested

Delhi Police today claimed to have arrested a robber, who was wanted in 28 cases of snatching, robbery and theft, and recovered three gold chains and a stolen bicycle which was used in the commission of crime.
The Crime Branch has arrested Vicky alias Gopal (21), a resident of Mubarakpur area in Delhi.
According to police, the receiver of the stolen property, Virender Soni (42) has also been arrested.
"Police received a tip-off that a wanted robber involved in snatching and robbery cases would come to Sector-28 of Rohini yesterday," a senior police officer said, adding that the two were apprehended.

The officer also said that the accused during interrogation revealed that he had come out from jail about two months back and resumed his criminal activities.
Vicky has been involved in 28 cases of snatching, robbery and theft and has been declared proclaimed offender in five cases, he added.
