The 42-year-old singer took to Twitter to make the announcement about his 11th studio album.
"Managed to keep this secret for a whole week: I'm working on my new album with @SonyMusicUK," the "Better Man" hitmaker tweeted.
The LP will also reunite Williams with his long-time collaborator Guy Chambers, who together wrote some of his most enduring hits, including "Angels," "Rock DJ", "Feel", "Millennium", and "Let Me Entertain You".
In a further statement on his official website, Williams shared his excitement for the project.
"I look forward to working on this album, which is an album I'm immensely proud of, in this exciting new partnership with Sony Music," the statement read.
Williams released his first solo album "Life Thru a Lens" in 1997 through EMI Records before later signing with Island Records at Universal in 2009.
