Farhan Akhtar, 41, who will reprise his role of a musician in "Rock On 2" said, "We will start shooting for the sequel in August this year and are planning to release the film sometime around September next year."
Apart from Farhan, the cast of the film include Arjun Rampal and Shraddha Kapoor. This is the first time Shraddha will be seen opposite "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" actor.
Shraddha, who made her singing debut with "Ek Villian", will also be lending her voice to the music of the film.
