Rolls-Royce reunited with family of first owner after 70yrs

The family of the first owner of a 1933 Rolls Royce will be reunited with his car 70 years after the vehicle was sold.
Gustave-Alain Miesegaes, the son of the first owner of the Rolls Royce travelled all the way from his home in Switzerland to attend a motor show in Tewkesbury, UK where he will be able to have a glimpse of the vehicle.
Miesegaes, whose father bought the Phantom II Continental when it was new, came across a picture of the car on the show's website.
Roger Head, the car's current owner, has agreed to exhibit the vehicle at the festival, 'BBC News' reported.

"I have only ever seen black and white photographs of the car until I found the one on the website," Miesegaes said.
"Touching the car will be something quite exciting," he said.
Gustaaf, Miesegaes's father, sold the Rolls Royce in the late 1930s.
"I have a few things I'd like to give to the new owner, because I think these archives belong to the car," Miesegaes added.
