WWE star Ronda Rousey has been roped in to play a firefighter in the third season of "9-1-1".
According to The Wrap, Rousey will play Lena, "a fearless member of the Los Angeles Fire Department's Station 136".
The Fox series features Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kenneth Choi, Ryan Guzman and Aisha Hinds in pivotal roles.
The trailer of the third season of the series from Ryan Murphy was released by the studio on August 14.
The drama is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.
"9-1-1" season three will premiere on September 23 on Fox.
