Noted filmmaker Rakesh Roshan today moved the Uttarakhand High Court seeking quashing of an FIR lodged by a Dehradun-based author accusing him of plagiarising his story and using it for his blockbuster "Krissh 3".
Filing a writ petition through his lawyer Aman Rab, Roshan invoked the court's inherent jurisdiction to quash the FIR by Roop Narayan Sonkar saying the charge levelled against him was baseless.
In his FIR lodged on May 21, Sonkar claimed that he was the original author of the story which was allegedly stolen by Roshan and used for "Krissh 3", a big box office hit.
