The trip, covering 24,000 km and two continents, was flagged-off by Malayalam film actors--Anoop Menon and Nameetha Pradeep.
The three-- Suresh Joseph, former General Manager of Dubai Ports, ace film director Lal Jose and Auto journalist Baiju N Nair said their purpose of undertaking the journey was to carry messages of 'World Peace'.
The Indian leg will include Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Jabalpur and Gorakhpur.
They will enter Nepal and then cross over to Tibet, where they will visit the base camp of Mount Everest and Lhasa, from where the journey will take them to Europe through China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Joseph is presently working as consultant in Trans Asian Shipping Services Limited here and is a seasoned traveller who entered the Limca Book of Records 2012 by undertaking a solo car trip covering 28 Indian states and the 17 Indian Railway Zonal headquarters, spanning 23,355 km in 124 days, becoming the first person to do so, in a 'Maruti Swift'.
In 2013, Joseph undertook four solo expeditions in a Swift across India, the first person to do so in a year, and earned seven record entries in the Limca Book of Records 2014.
Lal Jose, who won accolades for his 'Diamond Necklace', 'Immanuel', 'Meesa Madhavan', 'Classmates', 'Chanthupottu' and 'Arabikatha' said he was looking forward to the exciting journey of a lifetime in a car. His longest journey earlier was a 10-day Trans-Siberian Railway experience.
Baiju is the Chief Editor of SMARTDRIVE, the automobile magazine, published in Malayalam and English and also anchors a popular weekly automobile programme in a television channel.
