Roy takes over as Himachal Chief Secretary
He succeeded Harinder Hira who retired yesterday.
Roy has held several important posts in the state and at the Centre. He had also served in Dhaka.
Before his appointment as Chief Secretary, Roy was the Additional Chief Secretary of the state.
The state government today promoted T G Negi, Principal Secretary (Transport and Irrigation and Public health), as Additional Chief Secretary.
Himachal now has three Additional Chief Secretaries of whom two would retire on June 30. PTI PCL RKC RKC
