Royal Enfield appoints Rudratej Singh as President

Eicher Motors today said it has appointed Rudratej Singh as President of Royal Enfield.
Prior to this, he was based in Singapore with Unilever as Vice President - South Asia, HPC & Foods Marketing Operations.
Now, Singh will be based in Gurgaon and report to Eicher Motors Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer Siddhartha Lal, the company said in a statement.
Lal said: "Rudy joins Royal Enfield after spearheading global brands and businesses for almost two decades across emerging and developed markets."
Royal Enfield, the Chennai-based arm of the company, currently sells various models including Bullet, Classic and Thunderbird
As President, Royal Enfield, Singh will be responsible for building thought leadership for the brand and leading the commercial business for Royal Enfield.

It would include global sales and after sales, brand and marketing, new product strategy and creating and growing new business opportunities such as apparel, accessories, and other adjacencies.
