Royal Enfield sales rise 42% in March

Two-wheeler maker Royal Enfield today reported 42 per cent jump in total sales in March at 33,679 units against 23,693 units in the year-ago period.
Domestic sales also surged 42 per cent to 32,854 units last month from 23,170 units in March 2014, the company said in a statement.
Exports during the month stood at 825 units as against 523 units last year.
