Prince William will attend the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next month with his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and his brother Prince Harry.
Buckingham Palace said today that they will join other senior members of the Royal Family including Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, during the July 23-August 3 event.
Queen Elizabeth II will open the Games in a ceremony at Celtic Park and will visit other sporting sites with her husband Prince Philip on July 24.
William, Kate and Harry, who were all official ambassadors at the London Olympics in 2012, will join spectators on July 28-29.
