Passport Seva Kendras at Saligramam, Tambaram and Aminjikarai in Chennai and Passport Seva Laghu Kendra in Puducherry would operate on April eight under the special passport mela, a PIB release said.
The offices would operate like a normal working day and accept applications as per time slots allotted to candidates.
"Approximately 2,500 applicants are expected to be benefitted from the mela", the release said.
The RPO has asked candidates to bring the applicant registration number with appointment details to the Passport Seva Kendras with the necessary documents on that day.
