Rs 1.95 cr-worth illegally manufactured drug seized; one held

Over 200 kg of Alprazolam drug, which is used in treatment of psychotic problems, was today seized from a factory here for its alleged illegal manufacturing, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) said.
Weighing 238.12 kg, the seized drug has a street value of Rs 1.95 crore. One person has been arrested in this connection, the DRI added.
Further investigation in the case is on, it said.
