While stating this today, Revenue Officer Ram Singh Bishnoi said that the farmers of village Gorakhpur, Baropal and Kajalheri were getting the compensation amount as per their will.
Giving details of the compensation amount distributed, he said that 135 farmers of village Gorakhpur were given compensation of over Rs 96 crore for more than 313 acres of land.
While 84 farmers of village Baropal were given compensation of over Rs 27 crore for 88 acres of land, the compensation of over Rs 54 lakh had been given to a farmer of village Kajalheri for 1.78 acres of land.
