Rs 15 lakh worth pirated DVDs and equipment seized

Three persons were today arrested and over 3,300 pirated DVDs and equipment worth Rs 15 lakh were seized from their possession during a raid at Kodungayur area, police said here.
Information provided by one person, who was held during the raid by the video piracy cell, led to the arrest of the others, they said.
Over 3,300 DVDs, 11 writing machines, a TV and a two-wheeler used to commit the crime were seized, they said.
