"Three robbers looted the cash kept in the gas agency, besides sale proceeds of two salesmen, at pistol point around 6 PM when the account of the daily sale was being taken from the salesmen by in-charge Virendra Thenua, while the three other gang members kept their motorbikes ready for quick escape. They fled with around Rs 2.5 lakh," Deputy SP Ajai Kumar said.
A combing operation has launched soon after the loot. "We expect to identify some of the robbers soon," the police officer said.
