State Forest Minister Bina Kak said the forest and environment department will provide the compensation to the two villagers, Hanuman Prajapat and Badri Lal, who were injured when a tiger strayed into their village from the Ranthambore National Park and attacked them on Tuesday.
She also said that the boundary wall of the National Park, which is around 6-feet in height is being raised to 8-feet to prevent animals straying into villages.
"The boundary wall will have a barbed wire fencing to prevent the big cats from straying into the villages," she said.
