During a routine check early this morning at a checkpost, police found the cash in the denomination of Rs 500 kept hidden under the seats of the multi-utility vehicle, coming from Bengaluru.
The occupants of the car hailing from Bengaluru could not produce valid documents and were arrested and the cash seized, police said.
