Inaugurating the Mass Contact Programme titled as 'Karuthal-2015', Chandy said an eight-point programme to boost the infrastructure and social justice sectors of Pathanamthita would be implemented.
Chandy said measures would be taken for implementing the Kuttalam-Sabarimala Road Development Project after getting the report on environmental study. "This would be a combined effort of Kerala and Tamil Nadu governments," he said.
An ambitious circuit to connect various pilgrimage centres of varied religions at Pathanamthitta would be implemented in the short run.
'Explore Pathanamthitta', another ambitious project for boosting the tourism sector of Pathanamthitta, also would be taken up, he said.
