The wages would take effect from April last year.
A decision to this effect was announced by Corporation commissioner Dr VIjayakarthikeyan at a meeting here today.
The workers union representatives welcomed the announcement, claimed to be the highest wages in any Corporation, and thanked the commissioner for their long awaited demands, an official release said here.
